Vox Public Relations Public Affairs Announces Dan Pearson as
Vice President of Portland Office
PORTLAND, Ore. — Dan Pearson has joined Vox Public Relations Public Affairs as vice president of its Portland office. Pearson is skilled in business development, advertising, branding and international public relations.
“Dan brings impressive skills and experience to the firm, and we’re excited to have him working on the business development side of our team,” said Pat Walsh, president and CEO of Vox Public Relations Public Affairs. “He shares our passion for strategic communication and public relations.”
Before coming to Vox, Pearson was senior vice president of health care practice for a Chicago public relations firm. He has worked for internationally accredited public relations and public affairs firms including Porter Novelli, Publicis and Citigate in London, England. His clients have included pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, universities, manufacturing companies and life sciences firms.
Pearson previously worked as corporate communications and consumer affairs director for a major U.S. health insurance company and as a university development director.
His work has appeared in various print, television and broadcast media outlets, including Forbes, the Chicago Tribune, the British Medical Journal and the Times (London).
Pearson has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Butler University and a master’s degree in public relations from Ball State University. He holds accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators and the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.
